Book Lovers Ball 2012 Broadside

Nate Christopherson and I were asked to produce a letterpress broadside for Milkweed Editions 13th annual Book Lovers Ball in 2012. We produced an 8x10 broadside of the poster on Mohawk paper, using 3 different colors. Nate illustrated the Monarch Butterfly and the lettering was drawn by me (Karl). We printed the third, black, layer “live” at the event and answered questions about the printmaking process.
