Metatranslations is a current exhibit at the American Swedish Institute featuring the poet/author Ed Bok Lee and his unique process for gaining inspiration. Lee's process includes studying written history without comprehension of the language it was penned in. The typography and/or handwriting of the original author acts as a catalyst for Lee's imagination and triggers his creative spark. See it for yourself at the American Swedish Institute through April 26, 2014. ASIMN.org
