Northern Brewer Catalog

Northern Brewer's catalog was the primary, ongoing focus of my time there. I took over the singly printed annual project from the owner/president in 2005 and spent the next 9 years supplying and redefining what homebrewing could look like. The catalog consisted pages of homebrewing equipment, ingredients, beer recipe kits and articles. I was personally in charge of planning and organizing the entire book as well as laying it out & being the chief illustrator & product photographer. At its peak, Northern Brewer printed over 1 million catalogs per year in about 5–8 editions.

Winemaking Catalog

For a time, Northern Brewer also printed and distributed its own winemaking catalog—which I also designed. This book’s focus allowed customers to easier ignore the wealth of brewing supplies that Northern Brewer offered and focus on the quality wine kits and equipment.
